Through the Mennonite Literary Society, Rhubarb presents various events each year, including literary readings, comedy, songwriter's nights, and fundraisers.

While most events will be presented in Manitoba, the MLS could present or co-sponsor events or programs anywhere there is interest and volunteer support.

Since Rhubarb and the MLS have no paid staff, volunteers are needed to help plan, promote and run these programs and events.

Society programs are designed to recognize diversity, be inclusive and international, limited only by the English language.

Volunteering is a great experience that benefits not only you and MLS members but also the Mennonite community as a whole. Without volunteers, Rhubarb and the MLS wouldn't exist.
