Rhubarb magazine presents:

CHORALE

FINAL RHUBARB CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Mennonite Literary Society seeks poetry, art, fiction, creative non-fiction, essays and reviews for the December 2011 issue of Rhubarb. We are specifically seeking art and writing about the traditional and non-traditional music in Mennonite culture, but will accept and include art and writing unrelated to the theme.

If you have a story to tell about the choirs you’ve sung in or conducted, the orchestras you’ve played in, the solos you’ve performed, a particular music director or teacher you recall, a concert that “rocked your world” – a story that can be told through fiction, poetry, prose, or art – we want to know about it! Put your pen to paper, your fingers to keys, your brush to canvas, and send us the results.

Remember, too, that we are interested in receiving any and all art and writing for that issue, whether on theme or not.

Work will be accepted until the end of September, but we would prefer to receive it by September 3rd, or as soon after Labour Day as possible. All work must be submitted by email, as doc, docx, jpeg or tiff files to submit@rhubarbmag.com.
